Accounting Manager In this detail oriented role where accuracy and pride in your work are crucial to our ongoing success, we will rely on you to maintain the accounting records by performing the following tasks: - Work directly with the Vice President of Finance and assist in the overall management of the finance department - Review the work of the Staff Accountants prior to creating the reporting package - Prepare financial and management reporting package based on the information entered by the Staff Accountant - Perform reconciliations and analyses on the monthly reporting - Assist with the creation of the budget - Manage, record and report cash flow - Ensure compliance with the purchasing and other financial procedures - Collect and record cash receipts - Monitor the KPI's of the department and other financial tools (i.e. ratios) Requirements The ideal candidate will possess the following abilities, attributes, experience and skills: - Bachelor s degree in Accounting or related field - 2-3 years of formal accounting training - Knowledge of US GAAP - Proficiency in MS Word and Excel - Team player with a mature attitude - Desire to grow with the company - Ability to create accurate reports - Ability to provide self-motivation and initiative a must - Ability to recognize the needs of the department and organization in advance and strive to complete them without unnecessary guidance Benefits: We offer exceptional benefits to our employees.
