| Advance Development Plant Manager MI Open (J#20333) Title: Advance Development Plant Manager Company: Amcor Reporting to the Director of Advanced Technical Service this position directs and coordinates activities of the day-to-day operations for the Global Advanced Development Plant. Overall responsibilities include: safety, talent management, budgeting, managing projects and associated timelines, analytical problem solving, addressing complaints, performance management, salary planning, continuous improvement projects and capital planning. Assist in the resolution of difficult technical issues and work closely with Engineering and Innovation groups. Assist in the planning process of new products and/or improvements to existing products, focusing on project concerns such as cost, completion dates, resource allocation and quality/reliability. Oversee production and operating reports and resolves operational, manufacturing and delivery problems. Ensures compliance and safety performance as well as associated training programs for the Advanced Development Plant. Proposes salary and hiring decisions and executes plans. Operates within budgets of approximately $1.5M - $2M. You must be a team leader with great integrity and interpersonal skills; great negotiator is beneficial.
