| Application Packaging Analyst TX Open (J#21072) Title: Application Packaging Analyst Company: National Engineering Salary: Competitive Job Description: Application Packaging Analyst Job Duties : 30 to 60 day contract position Rate: $35/hr. Location: Dallas, Texas In addition to the job description below we would like for them to have Application Testing experience. Job Description: This position is for an Application Packager. This person will be responsible for application support, application packaging, and application deployment for a wide variety of business systems. Application packaging of client applications are done using Wise Package Studio. The role is also involved is writing custom Wise Scripts and/or VB Scripts. This person would ideally have some experience creating packages and deploying Advertisements using Microsoft SCCM. Support problem and change requirements as they relate to application or image building. Work involving problem determination and implementation of changes to software application or desktop image environment. The person would ideally be familiar with Application Virtualization using Microsoft MDOP (APP-V). The skills, experience, and knowledge required to be considered for this position include (items are required unless noted otherwise): * Bachelor's Degree * 3-5 years of Application Support and Application packaging experience in a large scale distributed environment * 3-5 years supporting Microsoft Windows Operating Systems including Windows XP, Windows 2000 Server, and Windows Server 2003 *Knowledge of Microsoft Application Virtualization 4.
