This includes a Global Framework solution for Windows Operating Systems and applications which has been used to deploy 50 thousand laptops, plus solutions for server applications. Responsible for all aspects of application packaging on both Server and Laptop platforms producing both standard MSI packages and also virtualized packages using technologies such as Microsoft App-V. Packages will be delivered for both the Server and Laptop platforms through either automated build processes or post-build setup procedures. This incumbent is responsible for the creation and maintenance of application packaging standards and the build, test and publishing of application packages. As well as performing the application packaging themselves, the job holder will maintain relationships with 3rd party packaging organizations, leveraging these where necessary/appropriate.
