| Food Packaging Manager MO Open (J#30723) Title: Food Packaging Manager Company: PrincetonOne Description - The Food Packaging Manager will plan, lead, organize and control the day-to-day operations of specific packaging activities within a certain shift. - Supervise a staff of approximately 20-30 people. - Planning and scheduling of tasks for department, prioritizing product needs based on demand. - Ensure that all product specifications are being met according to guidelines. - Train, coach and provide recognition to employees to achieve continuous improvement. - Ensure compliance of all company policies, procedures and safety guidelines by all direct reports. - Monitor employee performance, and provide ongoing performance feedback. Apply consistent disciplinary measures as needed, or as identified within the company policy handbook. Complete performance evaluations. - Ensure daily, weekly and monthly goals are met or exceeded. - Analyze and research problems and provide resolutions. - Manage labor costs by maximizing shift productivity and maintaining appropriate staffing levels for the volume of business. - Manage profitability by achieving product yields and meeting deadlines for product readiness. - Install, implement and recommend gauge points or benchmarks within the department. - Complete other duties as assigned. Requirements Qualifications: - High school diploma - 2-3 years in Management or Supervisory Role - Restaurant Management experience a plus Skills Needed: - Demonstrated ability to interact and offer guidance to others. - Strong team building and mentoring skills. - Capable of handling multiple tasks at once. - Demonstrated ability to adjust to sudden changes in customer demands or operational goals. Demonstrated commitment to work until job is completed. - Results-oriented. Customer-service oriented - Ability to read, comprehend and carry out simple instructions.
