| General Supervisor Corrugated MN Open (J#5800) Education: Associates Degree Experience: 4 - 9 years General Supervisor U.S. Corrugated, one of the largest independent manufacturers of corrugated packaging in the U.S. is looking for an individual with proven leadership skills including a personal sense of responsibility and accountability to supervise, coordinate, coach and mentor the completion of work including establishing work schedules and assignments to meet production goals at our Twin Cities plant. Confer with management and participate in employee-related performance issues and complaints. Coordinate on-the-job training for employees. Monitor and enforce safety and housekeeping regulations. Confer with other management personnel to coordinate/monitor operations and activities within the plant to insure production requirements, product quality and efficiencies. Participate in and have a working knowledge of continuous improvement initiatives including lean manufacturing and other production improvement processes. Willingness to work flexible hours to improve multi shift operation. Required Skills: Must exhibit proven leadership skills including a personal sense of responsibility and accountability. Must have excellent organizational and communication skills (both written and verbal). Excellent time management and prioritization skills as well as an understanding of continuous improvement manufacturing principles. Required Experience: A minimum of 5 years corrugated industry production supervisory experience. College degree preferred. Must possess a working knowledge of continuous improvement manufacturing principles.
