| Maintenance Technician CA Open (J#30795) Title: Maintenance Technician Company: Lawrence Livermore National Description Innovative manufacturer of corrugated food packaging products is looking for experienced and talented maintenance personnel to service high speed industrial equipment. Experience in the corrugating, folding carton and printing industries a plus. Requirements Requirements: - Minimum 10 or more years experience working as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environment - Must be able to make mechanical repairs on industrial drive trains such as gear boxes, gear trains, sprockets, chains, belts and pulleys and be able to properly replace bearings - A basic knowledge of bearings, machine parts and electrical pneumatic components, proper usage and installation - Must have knowledge of 3 phase electrical systems - Must be able to troubleshoot electrical systems from 24 volts DC to 480 volts AC - Experience with servo-driven equipment a plus - Have working knowledge of industrial motor controls - Must be able to understand mechanical drawings and possess good reading comprehension of technical manuals - Pipe fitting, welding, and brazing skills a plus - Must be a self starter and have excellent troubleshooting skills - Good communication skills and the ability to effectively and professionally interact with others in manufacturing environment - Must possess good housekeeping practices. Work Hours: - 2nd shift (2pm to 10pm) or 3rd shift (10pm to 6am) - Overtime and weekends - Must be flexible and change shifts to provide coverage when needed | |||
