| Manager Assembly Packaging CA Open (J#30853) Title: Manager Assembly Packaging Company: Peregrine Semiconductor Description: Peregrine Semiconductor Corp. is seeking an experienced Manager, Assembly & Packaging Engineering to join our San Diego team. Candidate will be responsible for: Roles & Responsibilities: Participate in qualification and evaluation of existing and new package designs. Develop and evaluate specifications for advanced package/module solutions Sustaining operations in a high volume manufacturing environment. Lead the effort with participation from Purchasing, QA, Design and Technology groups to identify, select and qualify assembly and packaging technologies for advanced RF ICs. Selecting and qualifying additional outside assembly and packaging vendors and establishing strong working relationships with those vendors. Selecting and qualifying additional wafer bumping vendors and establishing strong working relationships with those vendors. Candidate may be required to interface with customers and provide application assistance related to assembly and packaging of Peregrine products. Vendor interface and sustaining Engineering. Disposition of discrepant material. Production/quality metrics. Experience, Skills and Education Required As a minimum, the successful candidate will possess a BS in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Material Science.
