| Packaging WI Open (J#30778) Title: Packaging Company: QPS Employment Group Description Position: Packaging Wage: $8.75/hour Shift: 1st QPS Employment Group has immediate openings for Packagers at a company in Monticello, WI. Responsibilities: This position involves most packaging and sanitation functions of packaging such as; packaging machine loading, labeling, bagging, scaling, boxing, palletizing, cutting and some sanitation. You will be required to strictly follow all GMP, sanitation, safety, and personal conduct rules. This position is fast paced and moderately physical in nature. In order to maintain profitability, great attention is paid to overall line efficiency and to individual performance. You will be required to move from one job function to another quickly as production needs dictate. It is essential that this person is able to learn many jobs and is flexible with duties and schedules. Requirements: 1. Accurate record keeping as required by the position. Writing needs to be accurate as well as clean and neat. Must be able to read, understand and follow written procedures. 2. Sanitation duties as required. This person must be able to follow written procedures for sanitation including chemical use, cleaning methods, and safety requirements/rules. Must be able to read, understand and follow written sanitation procedures. 3. Like any employee, you are required to report unsafe conditions or practices to Plant Management. 4. Duties to include general cheese packaging functions including but not limited to; cutting, scaling, machine loading, bagging, labeling, boxing and palletizing. 5. Must maintain a high degree of personal hygiene, must follow all GMP's (Good Manufacturing Practices). 6. Some positions require the use of powered pallet lift trucks. 7. Must be capable of operating many different types of packaging line related machines, mainly tapers, cutters, labelers and scales.
