Packaging Engineer MI Open (J#30888) Title: Packaging Engineer Company: Confidential Description Auto parts packaging firm is seeking a responsible individual with experience in automotive service parts. Must be able to read blue prints. Will be responsible for establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with vendors and customers. Understanding of Part Submission and Warrants (PSW), PPAP helpful but not required. Will be required to contribute to overall Quality effort. Knowledge of ISO 9000 helpful but not required. May have some minor operational responsibilities. Must be willing to work in a light industrial manufacturing environment. Overtime may be required. Non-Smoker. Requirements - Four year college degree in Packaging Engineering a must - Experience in automotive service parts packaging - Non-Smoker - Proficient in Microsoft Office applications - Must be able to read blue prints - Must be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with vendors and customers - Understanding of Part Submissions Warrants (PSW), PPAP helpful - Will be required to contribute to overall Quality effort. - Knowledge of ISO 9000 helpful - May have some minor operational responsibilities - Must be willing to working in a light industrial manufacturing environment - Some light administrative duties - Must be detail oriented - Must be able to work without close supervision - Occasional local travel required - Overtime may be required .
